Banff Pride Festival

Banff Pride Festival is Alberta's autumn Pride: October 2 to 12, 2026, in Banff National Park. The festival combines community programming, live performance, nightlife and the outdoors. It opens with the Pride March and Flag Raising on Banff Avenue on Friday October 2, then runs through two weekends of drag, burlesque, live music, a drag brunch, a Pride Market, Taste the Rainbow at restaurants and bars around Banff, and Pride OUTdoors programming on the trails. It closes on Thanksgiving weekend with Big Gay Burlesque and Amateur Strip at Mason Hall. Banff Pride Society is a volunteer-run non-profit, and the festival draws most of its audience from outside town: Calgary, Edmonton, Canmore and further afield. Community events are free; ticketed shows start at $15, with early bird pricing until September 14.
