Canada House Gallery in Banff showcases contemporary Canadian art, giving visitors a welcoming place to discover original works. Explore paintings, stone and bronze sculptures, one-of-a-kind jewellery and a comprehensive collection of Inuit art from Canada’s Arctic. The gallery represents 55 painters, 20 sculptors and three jewellers, including five local artists inspired by the surrounding Canadian Rockies. Many are recognized nationally and internationally. Established in 1974, the gallery welcomes visitors in ski gear, cycling wear, hiking boots or cowboy boots. It is open 363 days a year and closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. The gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of Canada and gratefully acknowledges the Indigenous Peoples and treaties connected to the Bow Valley.
