Crescent Falls Provincial Recreation Area in Nordegg, Alberta, features a striking two-tiered waterfall with camping and designated viewing platforms. Located in David Thompson Country, the site offers 9 tent-only and 21 RV campsites, allowing visitors to stay close to the falls. The day-use area includes multiple safe viewpoints for enjoying the cascades. A staircase from the lower platform leads to a secure lookout, while a 0.8 km trail from the upper parking lot connects to the falls, rated moderate to expert due to a 66 m elevation gain. There is no general parking at the lower area or campground; only a drop-off zone and accessible stalls are available. From the lower area, the 3 km Bighorn Canyon Trail follows a steep cliff edge and requires caution and proper footwear.
