Esker Foundation is a privately funded contemporary art gallery located in Calgary. As a leader in the local arts community, it connects the public to contemporary art through engaging exhibitions, accessible programs, and thoughtful publications. Founded in 2012 by Jim and Susan Hill, Esker Foundation supports the creation of new ideas and fosters public dialogue around local, regional, and international culture. Admission, educational programs, and tours are always free. Group tours can be arranged upon request. The gallery presents three seasonal exhibitions each year—fall, winter, and spring/summer—as well as four exhibitions annually in its street-level Project Space. Esker Foundation is fully accessible and committed to making contemporary art open and inclusive for all.
