Hamilton House Cross Country Skiing Trail

You are XC skiing over pristine, groomed trails with small hills, valleys, and their private lake on 4 loops, including some advanced hills on the third loop. They offer approx 14 km of groomed trails in the Boreal forest of Northern Alberta. Leave from your own guest room door at Hamilton House Inn. There are approximately 20 pairs of skis and boots for rent, fitting almost everyone. They also offer five sets of snowshoes to make your own trail into the wilderness. Clean, crisp air with deep forest trails or wide-open spaces, sunrises or sunsets can lead the way, or the northern lights waiting for you on a night ski (headlamp provided) out on the lake bed. They see moose, deer, occasional coyote or lynx and/or their tracks, and many birds on each trip.
