Heritage Ranch

Heritage Ranch is a locally owned and operated business. Their fully licensed restaurant, the Westlake Grill, combined with the central location (easily accessible from both the QE2 and the city of Red Deer) makes them the ideal meeting place. At Heritage Ranch, the winter season offers a cozy retreat with horse-drawn sleigh rides adorned with 60,000 sparkling Christmas lights. Guests are invited to embrace the magic and tranquillity of the festive season with their family, friends, and loved ones. (Please note: Sleigh rides are seasonal.) During the summer months, visitors can create lasting memories with scenic pony rides for children and guided trail rides. Private carriage rides for families are also available, adding to the charm and enjoyment of the ranch. NOTE: As of October 7, 2025, the indoor amenities at Heritage Ranch will be temporarily closed. All outdoor amenities, such as playgrounds and trails, remain available for public use. Additionally, temporary washrooms are available at the base of the tower at the main building.
