Museum of the Highwood
Museum of the Highwood in downtown High River offers exhibits and family activities that bring the area's history to life. Housed in a former Canadian Pacific Railway station built in 1912, the museum connects visitors with the stories of High River and the Highwood area. Its extensive archival and photographic collections offer a chance to dig deeper, while special events and programs provide more ways to explore. Children can learn, play and get creative at the Imagination Station, giving families a space to discover together. The museum also houses High River's Visitor Information Centre, where representatives help with trip planning and share up-to-date information and recommendations for the town and surrounding area.
