Edmonton
Spend your first day experiencing what Edmonton is best known for – culture and entertainment.

Art Gallery of Alberta
You'll be immersed in art once that dramatic steel ribbon that wraps itself around the exterior of this cultural attraction is in sight. Situated in the heart of the Arts District downtown, visitors can discover historic, contemporary and touring exhibits on public tours or on your own.
A Local Favourite West Edmonton Mall
You'll find more than shopping inside this mega mall. Though with 800 stores and restaurants, you likely won't leave empty handed. Go ice skating, hit the water slides, play a round of mini golf or hop on a rollercoaster – all under one roof.
Neon Sign Museum
The first of its kind in Canada, the outdoor Neon Sign Museum is flashy, fun and free. The City of Edmonton collected and restored these advertising gems turned art forms – now installed in the ICE District. Each vintage sign tells a tale of Edmonton's past and makes for a great selfie backdrop.
TIP FROM A LOCAL
See if you can catch the Edmonton Oilers playing at Rogers Place in the ICE District.
